Rocky and Sue Wyatt

The Lord graciously opened my eyes to the truths of the Scriptures when I was thirteen years old. I came to understand my own sinfulness and desperate need of God's forgiveness through Jesus Christ. I continue to grow in my understanding of all the Lord has accomplished on my behalf. My greatest joy is to proclaim these wonderful truths.

In 1979 I began working in Youth Ministry. For about 25 years I had the privilege to work primarily with young people. There were times when I was bi-vocational and other times I was able to work full time. Regardless of my work status, I have always been thoroughly blessed to serve my Lord.

It was in the early years of ministry that the Lord burdened my heart with the need to provide ministry training for men within the context of the local church. I prayed for a number of years about this need and the Lord allowed me to be involved with several men who were committed to the same purposes. It has been our delight to work together with a common goal of training faithful men to teach faithful men (2 Tim. 2:2).

I was married in 1982 to my wonderful wife Sue and we have been greatly blessed with two sons, Curtis and Jacob and their wives, Annie and Candace. We have three beautiful grandchildren.

I have served at churches in California and Colorado and since 1994 I have served at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake, Texas (just North of Fort Worth). For the first 10 years I served as Youth Pastor and am currently an Associate Pastor. It has been a joy to serve in the ministry of this local church and to proclaim God's living Word.

1 Corinthians 15:58
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."
