I have had the great privilege of serving in various aspect of ministry since 1994. I have pastored in college, youth and adult ministries in Texas, Arkansas and Colorado. As of December of 2007, I am serving as Senior Pastor at Flatirons Baptist Church in Boulder, Colorado.
The Lord brought me to Himself during the summer before my senior year in high school (1986). Through the witness and lifestyle of a friend, I was introduced to the gospel and church for the first time. Upon hearing the Word of God preached with boldness and compassion, I believed in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
God introduced me to my wonderful wife and best friend, Paige, while we were attending the University of Northern Colorado. She graciously agreed to marry me in 1993. The Lord has since blessed us with two great sons...Evan (Oct. 1999) and Caleb (July 2003).
I have had the privilege of knowing and being discipled by some extraordinary servants of our King. What a great gift God has given us in the body of Christ to encourage us on to greater love of God and others and on to good deeds! I consider it a great privilege and opportunity to be involved in the training of men for the awesome calling of God to full-time service of Christ and His people.
